- Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2015The jet burner is a beast! I heated 5 gallons of water from 60 degrees F to 175 degrees F in about ten minutes. While not as good as a three tier system, it works well if you have limited space like me.
*UPDATE*
I've been using this for six months now. I absolutely love it! I live in a townhouse and brew on my deck, so it is perfectly sized to give me big boiling and sparge water heating capacity in a small footprint. I also bought a large grill cover (for a 4-burner size grill) at ALDI for $10 and store my kettles (one 16-gallon and one 7.5 gallon) with the cart, covered and protected from the elements. I can get 4 gallons of mash/sparge water to temperature in 7 – 10 minutes from room temp on the small burner and 8 gallons of wort to boil from mash/sparge temp in 5 minutes on the large burner, with the gas valve opened to the bare minimum. One 20 lb tank of propane will yield 4 – 5 brew session (I mostly do 60 minute boils, so YMMV.)
- Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2014I picked this up back in Nov'14 and have run two all-grain homebrew batches on it so far. The box arrived a little beat up but I had all of the necessary hardware to put it together... guess I'm one of the lucky ones. The jet burner is more adjustable that I thought it might be so that's a pleasant surprise. I'm actually going to order a second on and weld the two together (side by side).... I have a hot liquor tank with a herms coil that I'd like to sit right next to the mash tun... plus two jet burners will allow me to parti-gyle. I just sit my gas tank on the ground... I'm installing my transfer pump in that same area anyway. I think the weakest point of the whole set-up are the mickey mouse wheels (about to get replaced with some solid heavy duty hand-truck wheels). Overall I think it's worth every dime and I still rate it a five star purchase.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2015This is a good item for a new home brewer. I just set it up and tested the burners. It is pretty sturdy but I will definitely need to do some modifications. My main issue is that the top burner, which is where I'll be doing my boils, It won't fit my new MegaPot 1.2 (10 gallon). It is just a bit too small to sit on the outer square part of the frame without wobbling. I want to bolt some flat bars to the frame for the kettle to sit on. That should do it.
UPDATE: I really like the cart. I painted and bolted some flat steel bars to the top tier. My kettle fits fine now. It was also very sturdy during my first test.
I did have one issue. My 10g kettles were too large for the bottom burner in that the flame mushroomed up around the base which should have been fine. What happened was that the paint on the cart flamed up bad enough to stop using it. The paint also got on my kettle. I read a review here that stated this will happen. They advised to run the burner for 15 mins or so to burn off all the paint, which I did. I didn't run it with any kettle on top though. Then after the incident, I ran it with an old smaller pot on top during my brewing session because I wanted to use it again. The smaller pot allowed enough room for the flames and didn't help to burn the rest of the paint off. I think I have no choice other than to run the jet burner with one of my kettles on top and monitor it closely until the paint is burned off.
I would like to see this cart in stainless or with a better paint coating. Perhaps they could bake the carts after painting them with what I assume is high temp paint. I painted the steel flat bars with "Rutland 1200-Degree F Multi-Use Hi-Temp Flat Paint Spray" and I had no issues on the top tier. Obviously that burner isn't as hot.
I still like this thing for the money and it will take a hell of a lot more issues to make me hate it!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2014I used this unit one time for brewing beer. The jet burner was used to heat 13 gallons of water much faster than the turkey fryer that I had used in the past. I used the regular burner to boil the wort in a kettle. It came to a boil much faster, and the boil was more vigorous than using the old turkey fryer. This unit should last a long time and I expect to brew multiple batches on this thing for years to come.
I had seen other comments of the skimpy wheels that comes with this unit. I have no problem with the wheels that came with mine. The frame seems sturdy enough to hold the heavy weights of full water vessels in the brewing process. I was prepared to not use the wheels and affix the unit to a wooden base with caster wheels. But it did not require this. I feel this unit is worth the price, and purchasing it with Prime was a great selling incentive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Product received damaged. Poor quality control.
Product arrived damaged. Box was fine, but inside frame was very bent to the point wheels wouldn't operate properly. Product was obviously packaged this way with no regard for the quality. I would like a response and a discount.
